post 14 - Cheesestring!

  1. This advert can be interpreated as being targeted at children and at parents.

Children - The ad shows a child being what could be considered 'cheeky' to a teacher, this makes the child viewing the ad want to do the same therefore associating the product with this type of behaviour.

Parents - A serious message is put accross at the end of the ad that cheesestrings are in fact made of real cheese. This is reasure the parents of what their child is consuming.

The use of the setting being a school enforces the use of cheesestrings in everyday life, therefore increasing the chances the product may be bought on a regular basis.
